Will the name of Prime Minister be pulled out from an envelope? (Gazeta Express)
Berat Buzhala considers that even if the Constitutional Court decides that the President should give Hashim Thaçi the mandate to create the new government, it is globally known that he does not have the sufficient numbers. Therefore, he says, if the Constitutional Court authorizes only the Democratic Party of Kosovo to create the new government, its leader, Hashim Thaçi, would become an extremely funny figure. “All that he can do is meet Gjergj Dedaj from Albanians and non-Albanian communities. The other Albanian parties have already signed a document (which in fact shows that they do not trust each other,) which indicates that they would not even meet with him. Therefore, he would not only look as a politician without a partner but he would also appear not serious.”
Buzhala considers that if PDK decides for a more compromised radical solution, by offering some other candidate instead of Thaçi, then the opposition coalition would be in crisis. “Such proposal could activate all Dragodan radars, and they would all be searching for an acceptable name for all parties.” According to Buzhala, “the second scenario” when the Constitutional Court would give the opposition coalition the right to establish the new government, would have been much simpler. “We are already aware of their meetings on daily bases, to harmonize – at least this is what they are claiming – economic programmes,” writes Buzhala.
