Murtezaj: Association in accordance with Kosovo Constitution and laws (RTK)
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, will meet his Serbian counterpart, Aleksandar Vucic, in Brussels tomorrow. The representatives of both governments said they are expecting positive results from the meeting. Valon Murtezaj, the advisor for foreign affairs to Prime Minister Mustafa, told RTK that Pristina will initially ask for the implementation of the agreements reached so far before moving on to other topics. “Then we will try to achieve progress in concrete areas such as the telecom, namely the telephone code, and also the energy. There has been positive movement on these issues and decisions will be made at the level of prime ministers. There is also the topic of the barricades that prevent the free movement of people and goods, primarily the barricade on the Ibar Bridge. The EU has a key role in this respect. It will present a project and the phases for removing the barricade,” he said. Murtezaj said that the Association/Community of Serb-majority Municipalities should be established in accordance with the Constitution and laws of Kosovo. “We will not allow another tier of government in addition to the municipal and central levels of government,” Murtezaj added.
