Adopted only 206 complaints for registration in the electoral roll (RTK2)
Serbs displaced from Kosovo filed 9 172 complaints for registration in the electoral roll. Election panel for appeals adopted only 206, it was confirmed to RTK2.
The election panel for appeals said that they rejected appeals due to incomplete documentation, as they did not contain important personal information.
"The appeals were rejected because they were not complete, important personal documents were missing, concerning Article 90 of the electoral law, identity card, passport, refugee card," said Mul Desku, President of the Secretariat election panel for the appeal.
Representatives of election panel are obliged to inform about the decision all persons who have filed a complaint. According to Desku, OSCE help is expected, to handover decisions to the post in Nis, wherefrom it will be forwarded to the people.
The Central Election Commission confirmed that they had received information about the adopted appeals and they will deliver ballots to voters in time.
"CEC has obtained information about persons whose applications were adopted by the panel for complaints and appeals. We have taken all steps to make these voters ballots delivered on time," said Enis Halimi, chief executive officer of CEC.
People whose appeals were adopted will have the opportunity to take advantage of their right to vote in areas where they are currently located.
