Vucic is not going to Gracanica (Danas)

Serbian PM, Aleksandar Vucic, will not attend the unveiling of the monument dedicated to  King Milutin in the yard of the school in Gracanica, which is celebrating 140 years of its existence. Branimir Stojanovic, mayor of Gracanica, a municipality in Kosovo system of local government, said that celebration was postponed due to technical reasons, and will be held probably at the end of November."

He confirmed that President and the Prime Minister of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolić and Aleksandar Vucic, as well as the mayor of Belgrade Sinisa Mali, were invited for unveiling of the monument.

On the day of the arrival of Albanian PM Edi Rama in Belgrade, in Gracanica and other Serbian areas in Kosovo and Metohija appeared billboards with Vučić’s picture and a message "Welcome, President of the Government! Visit of the Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic to Kosovo and Metohija in December 2014 "and" We have a Prime Minister - Vucic ".  Stojanovic said that citizens set the billboards. When asked whether such action would require the consent of the municipal authorities, Stojanovic responded that "no one was against it." He argues that these billboards have nothing to do with Rama's visit to Serbia.

Except in Gracanica, billboards on Monday appeared in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica, Lapje Selo, Klokot, Partes and Strpce/ Shterpce. Ksenija Bozovic, President of Mitrovica North Municipal Assembly said that no one informed her about the billboards and that they were set late at night and early in the morning, without the consent of the municipal authorities. She notes that no one has officially informed her whether and when the Serbian prime minister will come to Kosovo.
