Hende: Hungary not planning to increase its mission in Kosovo (Blic)
Hungary is not planning to increase number of its soldiers in KFOR mission in Kosovo, stated Hungarian Minister of Defense Csaba Hende.
“Stability in Western Balkans is the national interest of Hungary. From that reason we have deployed significant forces, of around 500 soldiers, in international peace keeping missions in Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Hende following a meeting with Hungarian peacekeepers at the KFOR headquarters in Pristina, carried Hungarian new agency MTI and added that Hungarian contingent has been increased for 150 members earlier this year.
From 14 to 16 November Hende paid a visit to Hungarian peacekeepers in Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
