Jablanović’s statement causes controversy among the Serbs (RTK)
Representatives of the Serbian National Forum (SNF) (an organization that gathers Serbian intellectuals from Kosovo, whose goal is to solve the problems of the Serbian community) in press release criticized the Minister Jablanović for an apology sent to the mothers of Djakovica/Gjakove. The statement, among other things says that Jablanović apologized only to mothers of Albanian ethnicity, but not to the Serbian mothers whose children "could not be buried in this town, but their bones are scattered all over the place."
"The problem is that in a difficult battle to stabilize the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, are involved people who do not have enough experience and it is inevitable that they make mistakes that cost them, as well our people here. That is irresponsible, and what is worse, in that way Albanians were given a chance to force our minister to apologize for things that do not really need to be apologized," said member of the Serbian National Forum, Momcilo Trajkovic.
"Instead of prosecution of those who broke the bus, and which for years create the strategy to forbid return of the Serbs to Djakovica/Gjakove, even to enter their own church, we are in a situation that our minister justify his statements," said Trajkovic.
Minister for Communities and Returns Aleksandar Jablanović told RTK2 that he is not familiar with the press release of Serbian national forum.
