Odalović: No information on missing persons, everything is hidden (Blic)
"I would be happy if we closed that page yesterday. But our 525 people are still missing. There is no information, everything is hidden. That's what hurts, but we will not give up," said Veljko Odalović, President of the Commission for Missing Persons. Odalović together with representatives of the Association of Families of Kidnapped and Missing Persons and the citizens of Kosovo and Metohija in Gracanica participated in the marking of the pogrom that took place on 17 and 18 March 2014.
As he said message from the meeting is directed towards the international community, since it allowed such crimes under its mandate.
In regards to the objections of Serbian and Albanian Associations of missing persons, which pointed out that issue was not included in the framework of the talks in Brussels, Odalović said: "I do not know how Brussels dialogue can help. In case it will be decided, we will support it." He pointed out that he insisted at the international level, in several occasions, that the archives of KFOR, UNMIK police, and the archives of the Hague Tribunal become available for resolving the fate of missing persons.
