Djuric: We will fight for the Community of Serb municipalities (Blic)
Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric said that the Government, despite difficult negotiations, managed to be with its people in the southern province and announced that he would continue to fight for the Community/Association of the Serb municipalities.
According to him, the motto by which the government was guided in solving the problems of the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija was: "Who if not we?" and "When, if not now?".
After the inaugural meeting of the Government of Serbia in the mining basin "Kolubara", Djuric said to the reporters that representatives of the Government in the past year reached all major cities and places in Kosovo. “In the past year, we fully completed more than 40 apartments and 50 houses, and started building several local roads. More than 4,000 people received legal assistance in exercising their rights before the various institutions in Kosovo, several of which received acquittals in processes conducted against them,” pointed Djuric.
He also said that confiscation of the combine "Trepca" was stopped and two new ski lifts on Brezovica were opened. “In spite of difficult negotiations, I think we were able to be with our people in Kosovo, and I think they felt the government and state is with them,” Djuric added.
As Djuric said government will fight for the Community of Serb municipalities, which will present the framework of existence and survival of our people in Kosovo.
