Kosovo institutions do not care about justice (KIM radio)
"Kosovo institutions once again showed that they do not care about law and justice, but continue to do injustice by “switching the same argument”," was said in the statement of the Association of Djakovica/Gjakove citizens, in regards to the filed indictment against Aleksandar Jablanović.
Association of Djakovica citizens pointed out that this indictment and the indictment against 20 Serbs from this city presents continuation of the campaign against the return of Serbs to their homes.
The Association points out that the Basic Prosecution Office in Djakovica/Gjakove should launch the indictment against persons which stoned a bus with displaced Serbs on Christmas Eve. As stated, then Minister of Returns Aleksandar Jablanovc with his statement just condemned the violence.
Displaced Serbs from Djakovica/Gjakove stated that "it is clear to everyone, including the Prosecution office that Jablanović did not offend mothers from Djakovica/Gjakove, or all Albanians, but only those who attacked the Serbs."
“The unusual kind of justice which Kosovo judiciary implement could be presented in the best way by the fact that the Prosecution office in Djakovica/Gjakove has not filed any charge against persons responsible for the eviction of 12,000 Serbs from this city, for the destruction of their property and the destruction of churches, monasteries and cemeteries. However, Prosecution office reacted to the statement, which was expressed in the correct way, and by which the violence has been condemned," reads the statement of the Association.
