Three armed Albanian teenagers were arrested yesterday after 6 PM, following the incident between them and a group of Serb youngsters in North Mitrovica. A gun, two knives, protection mask, scarf and flag of the so called greater Albanian were found in their possession.

Kosovo Police communicated that that bigger incident was prevented by the police patrol that was in vicinity of a place where two groups clashed. Kosovo Police also warned that all who would try to cause incidents will be prevented in doing so since there are more police patrols on the streets of North Mitrovica.

The Mayor of North Mitrovica Goran Rakić praised the police action and requested from Kosovo Police, KFOR and EULEX to take preventive measures in order to stop destabilization of situation in northern Kosovo.
