Viskovic: Pristina will be less scrutinized (RTS)

Professor of Political Sciences Ivo Viskovic said that finding solutions for the area of telecommunications, energy, ZSO and other open issues such as the Peace Park in northern Kosovska Mitrovica would be a great success.

He pointed out that European officials are aware that Serbia is not the only player in these negotiations, but that Pristina "will be less scrutinized." "The prime minister said that ‘tango is for two persons.’ But I'm afraid that our behaviour will be observed through a microscope, while the behaviour of Pristina through the telescope. They are constantly less scrutinized then us," Viskovic said.

Commenting on allegations on the support arriving from the United States and related to the faster process of European integration of Serbia, Viskovic believes that it is a truth, though, as he says, he has no direct knowledge of that. "I have no direct knowledge, but knowing how these things are going I think it is signalled that Americans expect more lenient position of the EU countries towards Serbia," said Viskovic.
