About the abolition of Ivanovic's detention at a closed session (KIM radio)
The Basic court in Mitrovica has resumed the trial of Oliver Ivanovic and another four Serbs with the examination of Murat and Dorata Shkodra. On Thursday at a closed session will be discussed the abolition of detention to Ivanovic and Delibasic, said defence.
Ljubomir Pantovic, Ivanovic's defence lawyer, said to Kontakt plus radio that witnesses, Murat and Durata Shkodra, have not linked Ivanovic with the indictment.
"Not only that they did not link Ivanovic nor others with the indictment, but even Durata at the very beginning has greeted Ivanovic, and at the end of her testimony even shook hands with him very warmly. Therefore, we all wondered what the prosecutor wanted to achieve with these witnesses," said Pantovic.
Pantovic said that on 17 September will be held a closed session, at which will be discussed abolishment of the detention for Ivanovic and Dragoljub Delibasic.
So far were examined 52 prosecution witnesses out of 57 witnesses.
