Dragisa Miric, one of the candidates in the last elections for mayor of Gracanica, withdrew from the position of the president of the New Democratic Party (NPK).  As stated, Miric decided to handover party leadership to the younger members and to withdraw from the position after ten years of work in politics.  Elections for the new president of NPK will be held on 28 November in Gracanica, and Miric proposed Aleksandar Grujic from Bresje, as his successor.

In addition to participation in the elections, the party was not active. After the election of a new party president, the members of NPK will become more active and deal with problems in society.
