Ivanovic's defence before the Court in north Mitrovica (TV Most, KIM radio, Politika)
Oliver Ivanovic will present today in the Municipal Court in northern Mitrovica a defence before the EULEX three-member panel of judges.
Ivanovic is in custody and charged with serious crimes committed against Albanians in 1999 and 2000 in southern and northern Mitrovica.
The other four Serbs - Dragoljub Delibasic, a retired colonel of the MUP of Serbia, Ilija Vujacic, lawyer, Nebojsa Vujacic, a lawyer and Aleksandar Lazovic, a professor, in a single indictment, are charged with serious crimes in 2000, when more Albanians were killed, international judges shall hear next week, said to Politika Ljubomir Pantović, a lawyer from Ivanovic's team.
- Oliver Ivanovic will deny the allegations from the indictment. He will say what he said and on 27 January 2014, when he was detained, he will tell the truth, and which is that charges against him are not true - said lawyer Pantovic, and also estimated that a verdict would be ready by the end of this year, and that he hopes Ivanovic would be acquitted.
