Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Marko Djuric met today in Belgrade with President of the Serbian List Slavko Simic.  Djuric and Simic discussed the current political and security situation in Kosovo and reaffirmed the importance and necessity of coordinated action and cooperation between the Serbian government and the elected Serbian representatives in Kosovo, with an emphasis on the need to strengthen the political unity of the Serbian people in the province.

As announced by the Office, Simić reiterated the unequivocal support of the representatives of the Serbian List to the policy of the Government of Serbia. During the talks were discussed the specific issues relating to the improvement of the political, security and economic position of the Serbian people in Kosovo. As added, the importance of unified and synchronized actions of Serbian MPs in the Kosovo Assembly was emphasized, as well taking a clear position on the upcoming political challenges.
