Drecun: Unilateral solutions cannot solve problems in Kosovo (RTS)
President of the Committee for Kosovo and Metohija Milovan Drecun says that he would like today's discussion on Trepča to be based on facts.
The Committee will be addressed by Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić, who will submit a report on the work of the office and inform the committee on the progress of the dialogue in Brussels.
Drecun says to RTS that the date of the meeting was agreed with Đurić as it is necessary for committee members to receive information on the process of normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina, the problems on the Trepča, and telecommunications from him.
Drecun says that he would like the committee to show unity in preventing illegal activities carried out by the provisional institutions in Pristina.
- Example of Trepča indicates that unilateral imposed solution which protects the interests of only one side cannot solve any problem - says Drecun.
He adds that if one considers that an interruption of normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina is required, he has to explain what the alternative is.
Speaking about the formation of a working group for the crimes of the KLA, Drecun says that the goal is to unify all the information available to the competent authorities. He says that the working group will try to obtain information which UNMIK handed over to EULEX, and which has the OSCE.
