Media portal NMagazin reports that more people gathered in Leposavić/Leposaviq, and protested against the incident in which the leader of the Party of Kosovo Serbs (PKS) Aleksandar Jablanović pulled a gun and threatened activists of the Serbian list in front of the police station.

Protest was joined by the President of the Interim Authority in Leposavić Zoran Todić, who has called for a peaceful gathering.

Todić said that according to information from the police station, Jablanović attacked the activists of the Serbian List while they were engaged in election activities and condemned such behaviour, as he said, of "a so called Serb, who is aware that he is losing political position and has nothing to seek in the upcoming elections," reports NMagazin.

Jablanović was kept at the police station in Leposavić/Leposaviq; public prosecutor listened along him and activists of the Serbian List.

Daily Danas reports that Besim Hoti, Deputy Director of the Kosovo Police for the North, told Radio Free Europe that Aleksandar Jablanović and his wife were detained on Sunday evening in Leposavić/Leposaviq police station, having found with them weapon.

Jablanović detained and released

Danas reports that incident occurred during pasting election posters on Sunday around 8 pm. Jablanović was allegedly celebrating at a nearby restaurant, and during the incident, citizens reported to the police that one of the spouses pulled a gun.

The prosecutor has not filed any charges against the President of the Party of Kosovo Serbs Aleksandar Jablanović, who, along with his wife, after being kept a few hours in the police station in Leposavić, was released, writes Danas.

"No one cocked a gun against activists of the party (Serbian List), it is a sheer propaganda and scenario made for the election campaign. While activists of PKS were putting up posters, activists of the Serbian list have intercepted them, threatened them and took them around 34-40 posters".
