In the North of Kosovo, the implementation of license plate agreements, reached in Brussels within the framework of the agreement on freedom of movement, should begin soon, Serbian media reports in Kosovo.

The Ministry of the Interior of Kosovo states that in the coming weeks or months, when crossing to central Serbia, the use of stickers over the ''RKS'' registration marks will begin.

Deputy Minister of the Interior Ministry of Kosovo, Milan Radojevic, in a statement for Radio Kosovo 2, says that an administrative instruction is being drafted, which should regulate the issue of car registration onto Kosovo license plates in the Kosovo North.

In four municipalities in the North of Kosovo cars still move without plates, and also could be seen vehicle plates issued by the temporary organs of municipalities in Kosovo that function in the Serbian system.

However, residents say that, if they have to, they will register their cars onto Kosovo license plates, report Serbian media in Kosovo.
