Trajkovic: Serbs in Kosovo to be legitimized as participants in the establishing of the ZSO (RTK2)
President of the European Movement of Serbs and former deputy in the Assembly of Kosovo Rada Trajkovic told RTK2 that if Pristina is working on the establishment of the Community/Association of Serb-majority municipalities, it should work in a manner that implies the participation of Serbs because, as she says, if Serbs are not legitimized as participants then it means they are not working on it and it sends a worrying message.
"Kosovo officials themselves at the very beginning sabotaged the beginning of the drafting of the Statute for the ZSO, since they disrupted the order. We know that Thaci and Dacic signed an agreement in Brussels that essentially determined the dynamics and mechanics, as they say the formation of the ZSO. So it was decided to form a team, the Government to form a team of Kosovo, this team to prepare the Statute, and that the Statute goes to the Assembly. Then the Assembly to send the Statute to the Constitutional Court for the assessment whether it is within the framework of what the Constitution of Kosovo constitutes. An agreement between Belgrade and Pristina cannot be made without changes to the Constitution, both in the parliament of Serbia and in the parliament of Kosovo," says Rada Trajkovic to RTK2.
