Delegation of Serbian List met with Laura Cooper in Washington (TV Most)
Delegation of Serbian List, during their official visit to Washington, met with Ms. Laura Cooper, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defence for Russia, Ukraine, Eurasia in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defence for Policy.
“The latest incidents in Kosovo, the stance of Serbian List on the transformation of KSF into the Armed Forces of Kosovo, as well as the current political situation, were the topics of discussion with US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defence Laura Cooper and the delegation of Serbian List, which comprises of President of Serbian List and the Mayor of North Mitrovica Goran Rakic, Vice President of Serbian List and Deputy Prime Minister Dalibor Jevtic and Mayor of Strpce Bratislav Nikolic during their official visit to Washington.”
“During the meeting, the representatives of Serbs presented the details on the recent incidents in Kosovo that targeted Serbs, as well as the need to use clear and decisive reactions to stop such occurrences, where it was pointed out that the only the US Ambassador to Kosovo presented a clear stance and condemned the incidents.”
“When it comes to the position of Serbian List about the changing of the name of KSF, it is clear and unambiguous and Serbian List is against this initiative. It is especially emphasized that there is still a lot of work to be done in the process of trust building, and in this process, it is necessary to work on topics that are vital”.
“The continuation of the dialogue is essential to ensure long-term peace and stability, and the United States plays an important role in the process, it was stressed during the meeting. Delegation of the Serbian List will meet with Matthew Palmer in the State Department” the Serbian List said in a press release.
