OSCE Mission in Kosovo warns that Ivanovic murder remains unsolved (TV N1)
The OSCE Mission in Kosovo warned on Monday that the people who orchestrated the murder of Kosovo Serb political leader Oliver Ivanovic are still at large.
“Six months after Oliver Ivanović’s assassination, the culprits remain at large and little is publicly known regarding any possible progress in the investigation,” the OSCE Mission wrote in a Facebook post.
It called law enforcement agencies to invest efforts to solve the murder, calling it a test of the rule of law in Kosovo.
“The recent meeting between the respective police investigators from Pristina and Belgrade – as well as their other exchanges – are positive and we encourage the law enforcement community and all interested parties to do their utmost to shed light on this matter. As we stated on the day of Oliver Ivanovic’s murder, this case is a major test for the rule of law in Kosovo and it remains so today,” the OSCE Mission post said.
