EC: Belgrade and Pristina to define lasting solution (Beta, N1)

The European Commission reiterated on Tuesday that Belgrade and Pristina should define a lasting solution that would be sustainable, realistic and in line with the international law, the Beta news agency reported.

Maja Kocijancic, the spokeswoman for Frederica Mogherini, the EU High Representative for Foreign policy and the EC Vice President, told Beta that on June 24, presidents of Kosovo and Serbia Hashim Thaci and Aleksandar Vucic had ‘an intensive and productive talk about the framework of an agreement on overall normalisation of relations.”

She added that the two agreed to continue the dialogue in September and intensify the work, but fell short of giving any details about the current status of the dialogue.
