Serb accused for crimes against Albanians acquitted (RTS, TV Mir)
Kosovo judicial bodies have acquitted Milos Petkovic, from Mala Krusa village, accused of committing war crimes against the civilian population in this village, Orahovac municipality, Leposavic-based RTV Mir reported.
Milos Petkovic was arrested in Hungary on September 6, 2018 as per international arrest warrant issued by EULEX, RTS said. Petkovic was in detention in Hungary until May 17, 2019 when he was extradited to the Kosovo judicial bodies.
Petkovic’s lawyer Ljubinko Todorovic told RTV Mir his client was arrested based on a false report and it was proven in the court that he was not guilty.
