Police container burnt in Mitrovica North (Kosovapress)

The news website reports that a Kosovo Police container that served as a checkpoint in the Kroi i Vitakut neighborhood in Mitrovica North was burnt on Sunday evening. Citing unnamed sources, Kosovapress reports that there were no human casualties during the incident. Besim Hoti, Kosovo Police Deputy Director for the north, told Kallxo that the police had not used the container for a certain period of time.

No construction activity in Kroi i Vitakut today (Koha)

Albanian residents of the Kroi i Vitakut neighbourhood in the northern part of Mitrovica changed their position regarding resuming construction work on their houses today. Earlier, neighbourhood representatives said they would continue construction today but they have now decided to wait for the outcome of talks between Pristina and Belgrade representatives in Brussels.

Reconstruction of houses owned my Albanians in the Mitrovica’s northern neighbourhood of Kroi i Vitakut commenced this morning only to stop hours later. The neighbourhood representative Nazmi Ismajli said the residents agreed to temporarily suspend works until Tuesday when talks underway in Brussels end.

Serbs throw stones at Albanians workers in Kroi i Vitakut (Koha)

Around 30 Serbs have started throwing stones at the Albanian workers who early this morning started rebuilding their houses in Kroi i Vitakut, in the northern part of Mitrovica. Following the incident, which is the second one this week, the Albanian workers stopped the construction. No injuries have been reported. Albanian workers later resumed their construction work, after Kosovo Police and KFOR troops arrived at the site.
