Minister of Trade, Tourism and Communications Rasim Ljajic told Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) that Serbia should be dissatisfied if next year it’s not among the top 30 countries on the Doing business list.

When it comes to taxes which the Kosovo authorities have imposed on the flour imports from Serbia, the Minister of Trade said that Belgrade had sent a letter to the European Commission.

UNMIK, essentially violates the CEFTA agreement, because it has signed it and is responsible for its implementation. Why UNMIK does not respect its signature, this is something that should be answered, said the Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Aleksandar Vulin.

Officials from the Kosovo Business Alliance complained today that Kosovo is not being treated equally by the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) when it comes to the export of Kosovo produce. They said Kosovo faces numerous barriers at the border crossings and in addition, Kosovo is still represented at CEFTA through UNMIK symbols and not its own. The Kosovo Business Alliance urged institutions to make efforts in resolving the problems that the business community is facing.
