Former Kosovo Assembly speaker and co-founder of Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA), Jakup Krasniqi, reacted to the statement of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo chief, Marko Djuric, who said that Albin Kurti cannot lead the Pristina delegation in dialogue with Belgrade.

Krasniqi said that Djuric can decide about the representation of Serbia in the dialogue while the issue as to who will represent Kosovo will be decided by the representatives of the people of Kosovo. “The Kosovo Albanian side is interested to be represented by people with high moral and political integrity. This may well be Albin Kurti. The decision rests with the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo”, said Krasniqi.
