Germany supports Brussels dialogue and normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia (Gazeta Express)
The Minister for dialogue, Edita Tahiri, met today with the delegation of the German Foreign Ministry, headed by Helge Tolksdorf, Director for the EU Enlargement, South-Eastern Europe and Turkey at Germany’s Federal Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
The key point of the discussions was economic development of Kosovo and Germany’s support on this direction.
Tahiri stressed that Kosovo as a factor of peace and stability in the region is engaged for good neighborly relations, regional cooperation through the Brussels dialogue contributing also on normalization of the situation in the north of Kosovo and advancing on its way towards European Union membership.
The German diplomat stressed that Germany is determined to strengthen bilateral relations with Kosovo and to support Kosovo’s way towards integration in the EU and Euro-Atlantic structures. He also stressed that Germany will support Kosovo in all fields, especially on economic development. He also stressed that Germany supports the Brussels dialogue for normalization of the relations between Kosovo and Serbia, and it values importance of further progress in this process, in order for Kosovo and Serbia to become European Union members.
