The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) announced officially that Avdullah Hoti will be their candidate for the Prime Minister at the early elections on 11 June.

This decision was made today at the meeting of the party. The leader of the party, Isa Mustafa, said that all heads of LDK branches supported Hoti for Prime Minister of Kosovo.

“I consulted heads of all LDK branches and municipalities and their and my proposal is for Avdullah Hoti to be the LDK candidate for the Prime Minister of Kosovo. The outgoing Minister for Finance, Avdullah Hoti said that he would take over the duty with responsibility, trusting strongly on LDK’s cause.

“I take this as an extraordinary responsibility, I trust on LDK’s principals and cause and I thank all the members for their faith in me,” Hoti said.
