Task Force is not a solution (Kosova Sot)

The front page editorial of Kosova Sot writes that the Kosovo government, through Kosovo Minister of European Integration, Bekim Collaku, announced yesterday the establishment of a Task Force to prevent mass migrations of Kosovo citizens towards the European Union.

The paper writes that there is no similar mechanism in the past that has been successful and the reason is quite simple. These kinds of initiatives are undertaken to deceive the people and are not serious actions. Further the paper notes that whenever the politicians want to cover a certain problem, they create a task force or a working group.

The paper emphasizes that illegal migration of Kosovo citizens that are desperate and exhausted by misery and injustice, does not stop with government orders or with warnings about possible fines. The main burden of responsibility falls on the current government and the two major parties. If people are really convinced that there will be rule of law, employment,  better health service and quality education, then there will be no reason for them to migrate.
