Owner of restaurant Thaci visited: I did not give statement (BETA, B92, KoSSev)
Owner of a restaurant in the village of Banjska, Zubin Potok, Goran Drazevic refuted that he had “official conversation” with Pristina-based Insajderi portal, BETA news agency reports today.
This portal published Drazevic’s statement yesterday saying that his restaurant was shot at because Kosovo President Hashim Thaci had a coffee in it, while visiting Gazivode, and the Kosovo special police forces entered the lake from there.
“It is true they called me yesterday and today. They presented themselves in Albanian as journalists, I do not recall if they mentioned the name of media outlets. I speak Albanian. They asked to visit me, record the area, but I refused. One was persistent to come and told me he would call me again. I said everybody I do not want any recordings,” Drazevic told KoSSev.
Drazevic said he saw Thaci and does not deny it. According to him a group of people was on a restaurant’s terrace and ordered coffees. Once I brought coffees, I saw Thaci and the group invited me to sit with them.
“When I bought coffees, I saw Thaci there and one acquaintance from my old area, Sipolje, where Albanians make majority, and I was really surprised. He invited me to sit with then, however I politely declined it. We spoke in Albanian and exchange few sentences,” Drazevic said, Serbian media reported.
