Unexploded device found in front of Youth Centre in Osojane (Radio kontakt plus)
An explosive device was thrown this morning in front of the Youth Centre in Osojane, but luckily it did not explode, Radio kontakt plus reported.
According to the Ministry for Communities and Return’s representatives who are in Osojane, a worker who opened the centre noticed a device and reported the case to police.
“This is a serious threat to the security of Serbs living in Osojane. Only by mere coincidence, greater consequences are avoided. In addition to the condemnation, I am voicing, I also want to highlight that attacks against the Serbs must stop immediately. The situation is very serious and that is why I request an immediate reaction by the Kosovo police and the international community,” outgoing Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communities and Returns, Dalibor Jevtic said, Radio kontakt plus reported.
The Youth Centre in Osojane was funded by the Ministry for Communities and Returns, and this is the place where youth from the area spend their time, which causes additional concerns that someone had serious intention to send them, with this act, a message they are not safe there, Serbian media reported.
