Srpska Lista met with Palmer: Open issues to be resolved in compromise (RTS)

Srpska Lista representatives said during the meeting with US official Mathew Palmer that peace and stability are the most important and all open issues should be resolved in compromise. On the other side, Palmer noted it is important that Serbs take part in all the processes important for Kosovo, RTS reports. Srpska Lista Chair Goran Rakic and deputy chairs, Dalibor Jevtic and Igor Simic said Srpska Lista extends full support to the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to resolve the Kosovo issue in compromise, since this is the only way to enable better position of Serbs in Kosovo. They added more efforts are needed to improve living conditions of Serbs here. To achieve that of crucial importance is the establishment of the Association/Community of Serb-majority Municipalities, creating safer living conditions, in particular in areas where Serbs make minority, more efficient resolving of usurped property cases, position and protection of the Serbian Orthodox Church and creating better conditions for return and economic empowerment. They also noted the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue should continue and that latest initiatives in the Kosovo Assembly, related to the transformation of the Kosovo Security Forces are contrary to the interests of Serbs, RTS reported.
