Djuric: Toxic climate in Kosovo, Serbs treated as enemies (Tanjug, B92)
Attacks against Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija are consequence “of a toxic political climate” created by Albanian political leaders, Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric said, Tanjug news agency reports. Djuric added they treat Serbs “as state enemies of their fake state.”
This is how Djuric commented on recent incidents affecting the Serb community in Kosovo, including cattle thefts and slaughtering, confiscation, stopping humanitarian aid.
Djuric further noted the aim of these attacks is to force the Serbs out of Kosovo. He said Serbia stays ready to assist those affected, adding that municipalities and other bodies have instruction to document every such case, while the state is transferring financial support, so the municipalities can help these people.
