Vucic and Scott discussed Belgrade-Pristina dialogue (Tanjug, B92)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met today with US Ambassador Kyle Scott and discussed Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, Tanjug news agency reported.

Vucic told Scott he is not an optimist, but that Serbia is ready to continue the dialogue if Pristina revokes its decision on 100 percent tariffs on goods from Serbia. He also added Pristina has abolished the dialogue by its failure to implement the only obligation from the Brussels agreement to establish the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities, and decisions to adopt the platform on the dialogue and transform the Kosovo Security Forces.

Ambassador Scott noted it is necessary to find a way to continue the talks between Belgrade and Pristina since reaching a compromise is in the mutual interest of both Serbia and Kosovo, as well as the international community.
