Kosovo’s analyst: Vucic and Thaci discuss territory swap all the time (N1)
Fisnik Halimi, an analyst from Pristina, said on Thursday no one from Washington ever said that US National Security Advisor John Bolton would visit Serbia or Kosovo, and added that America was entering its election phase and that Pristina – Belgrade problem should be solved until the beginning of 2020 at the latest, N1 reported.
Halimi described Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic’s comment that even if Bolton came, he wouldn’t have who to talk to in Pristina since Kosovo was preparing for elections, as a statement for domestic use.
According to him, Vucic and his Kosovo’s counterpart Hashim Thaci “has been talking all the time, negotiating an agreement which will include the territory swap.”
“It’s been in the works in Serbia, Pristina, Washington, but also in Brussels and I believe that an agreement is in the final phase,” he said, adding that considering the US elections, the “whole thing should be over by next February at the latest or in the best scenario by this autumn,” Halimi said.
