Trajkovic and Spahiu: Jablanović politically immature; to avoid repetition of 17 March 2004 (RTK2)

Serbian politician from Kosovo, Rada Trajkovic and political analyst Nexhmedin Spahiu agree that Minister Jablanović with his statement showed political immaturity. They believe that it would be much better if he would resign, because the ministry will not be functional.

“We (Serbs) have one and most important issue on our agenda – the returns. I would say that we now need Minister, who could freely move and talk with Albanians. I think that Jablanovic in that sence is useless for us, and that he has shown political immaturity and lack of understanding of the ways of communication. He cannot label people. There are more decent ways of communication in order to express dissatisfaction,” says Rada Trajkovic.

Spahiu warned that the government together with the international community must solve problems in order to avoid a worst case scenario. "The reaction is mandatory, in order to avoid the worst, which is repetition of 17 March 2004. It could happen that discontent and anger over poor work of the institutions will be directed against Serbs in Kosovo, which would be very detrimental to our society and for the overall perspective of Kosovo."
