Minister for Communities and Return Dalibor Jevtić and Minister for Justice Hajredin Kuci discussed today a possibility for creation of a special court that would deal with cases of usurped property.

Jevtić voiced his expectation that Ministry of Justice, headed by Kuci, will support this proposal, which he plans to propose at tomorrow’s inter-ministerial meeting.  “This is not only the issue of Serbs, but of all Kosovo residents equally, and we have to settle it in a most efficient manner,” said Jevtić, and added that a special court department, which would deal with this problems, would help that this cases are resolved in more qualitative and accelerated manner.

Kuci said that there are two bodies within the Kosovo judiciary which are already dealing with this kind of issues, such as Agency for Property Rights and Special Court Chamber, and added that Jevtić has support in his endeavors. He further said that “everyone has the rights, and should return to his property and live there”.
