The representative of the Kosovo Central Election Commission (CEC) Miradije Mavriqi said that the only president of the Civic Initiative Serbian Lists was Jablanovic and that there was no political decision that could influence this fact, according to legal provisions.

Mavriqi said to the Beta news agency that CEC received a request from a group from the Civic Initiative Serbian List, adding that the "special commission of the CEC will consider the request of three ministers and respond adequately within the statutory deadline."

Mavriqi said that CEC did not interfere in the internal affairs of civil initiatives and that a change of managers within the Citizens' Initiative may occur - in that  case of Aleksandar  Jablanovic, only when there was an agreement between founders of the List or if Jablanovic resigned. Also, a change might occur if a political entity sues and the court rules in favour of the complainant.
