Guarantees to hold the session of the Assembly of Kosovo (Akter)

The head of the parliamentary group of the Serbian List in the Kosovo Assembly Slavko Simic asked at yesterday's session of the Presidium of the Kosovo parliament not to hold the next parliamentary session, scheduled for Monday, 2 November, if all the security prerequisites were not met. As he said, his request was supported by all the presidents of the parliamentary groups, who have agreed to continue the meeting of the Assembly of Kosovo on Monday, November 2nd. According to him, representatives of the Serbian list have had a meeting with Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga on the occasion of the blockade of the parliament. "Out of 120 deputies, 89 of them want to do their job. I expect that the crisis will be overcome because there is no need for early parliamentary elections in Kosovo," said Simic, adding that "very important topics for Serbian community" would be on the agenda of the Assembly of Kosovo, such as more draft laws and report on the four Brussels agreement of the Prime Minister Isa Mustafa.
