Technical dialogue during Serbia elections (Vecernje Novosti)
Dialogue with Pristina in Brussels will proceed at a technical level from the official start of the election campaign in Serbia to the formation of a new government, which can take up to two months and more.
Meetings between the two heads of government and the signing of deals, that may be achieved during this period, will condition the completion of the new team in Nemanjina Street 11. This means that little more than a month remains for the negotiators to finalize agreements. The highest priority for the Serbian side in Brussels, will of course consist in the "verification'' of the Community/Association of Serbian municipalities (ZSO) Statute.
Although Isa Mustafa said that he will not participate in the round of discussions scheduled for 27 January unless the European Commission issues recommendations for visa regime liberalization for Kosovo, a spokeswoman for High Representative Maja Kocijancic said to Vecernje Novosti daily newspaper that preparations for the meeting are in progress. Sources from Vecernje Novosti have stressed that Mogherini expected both Vucic and Mustafa's presence.
The talks between the two sides began yesterday in Brussels and will go on for three days.
