TV Most Editor-in-Chief on TV headline: Editorial failure, it is not something that we do (KoSSev portal)
TV Most based in Zvecan two days ago published a news with inappropriate headline, related to the graffiti written on the wall of school, attended by Serbian pupils, in the village of Ugljare, nearby Gracanica municipality, KoSSev portal reported today.
KoSSev also reported the news has been removed from the TV website.
TV Most, Editor-in-Chief, Ljiljana Jankovic assessed the headline as “utterly inappropriate” and as “editorial failure” adding “it was a violation of a codex and something that we do not do.”
The news was removed following reactions from the two journalists’ associations, in Serbia and Kosovo.
Jankovic also commented on statements Dragisa Milovic made in "Slobodno srpski" broadcast, and related to the negative media campaign directed against him and Oliver Ivanovic during the local election campaign, in which also TV Most took part.
Jankovic confirmed that Milovic has phoned her to ask what kind of TV spots are aired on TV Most, but refuted Milovic’s claims that she has told him these “TV spots were ordered and made in Belgrade.”
“I told him these are Srpska Lista spots, I have received them as such and could not change them. It is not true that I told him spots were ordered and made in Belgrade,” KoSSev portal reported.
Jankovic also confirmed Milovic’s claims she has told him there are no free time slots on TV Most for him and Ivanovic to be guests during the election campaign.
“It is absolutely true, there were no free time slots and all were taken. I have evidence, mails sowing that everything was booked,” Jankovic told UNS, KoSSev portal reported.
