Djuric: Of course we would seek explanation from Mogherini (TV Prva, B92, Vecernje Novosti)
Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director, Marko Djuric told TV Prva that representatives of Kosovo Albanians appear as “unserious and dishonest people,” when it comes to their obligation to establish Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities.
Djuric also touched upon a visit of an EU High Representative Federica Mogherini to Belgrade today.
“Of course we would seek an explanation from Mogherini. If international community wanted so, ZSO would exist today. If you do nothing for five years, and then you praise someone who only waved with a paper, it is an indicator there is no essential pressure. We have fully implemented all our obligations. Certainly, there would be a need from our side to talk about one of the most unsuccessful missions in an EU history, and that is EULEX,” Djuric said.
Speaking about announced meeting of Kosovo Serbs leaders in Zvecan today, Djuric said that “Serbs respect the Brussels agreement when they call for a meeting of Management Team to talk about ZSO establishment. It is their right and it is not a unilateral act. On the contrary, the EU has said the Management Team functions in full mandate since 4 April (…),” he added.
Djuric also said he expects nothing from Pristina, as a first deadline for ZSO was in May 2013 and now it is May 2018 and that everything “resembles a circus for the international community, and they appear as unserious and dishonest people,” Serbian media reported.
Meanwhile, Srpska Lista delegation, which is paying a visit to Germany once more reiterated they insist the establishment of the Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities be in line with Brussels agreement, daily Vecernje Novosti reported.
