Counting of conditional votes begins today (Kosovapress)

The Count and Results Centre (C&RC) has begun today counting of conditional ballots that include those that have arrived through post and those of persons with disabilities. Coordinator of the counting centre, Burim Ahmetaj, said these votes will be counted within one or two days.

“Based on the CEC (Central Election Commission) decision, the C&RC has recounted ballots from 14 polling stations which ended up in quarantine during the admission of sensitive material and they could not be processed as regular ballots due to irregularities with safety bands but also inconsistencies of different nature”, said Ahmetaj.

With regards to the voters outside of Kosovo, CEC officials said they received a total of 19,951 packages with ballots that have been reviewed and processed. Out of this figure, 10,648 were approved and 5,003 rejected.
