Jacobson: Kosovo an example for Europe (Gazeta Tribuna)

The U.S. Ambassador in Pristina, Tracy Jacobson, stated that Kosovo is an example for Europe, regarding its functioning as a multiethnic state.

Congratulating the government of Kosovo for integration of Roma community, Jacobson stated that around one million Americans have Roma origin.

At the ceremony of marking the Roma day, Jacobson said that more work should be done for the complete integration of this community; however she added that there is a range of projects that aim this. Some of these projects are sponsored by the U.S. Embassy.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo Isa Mustafa stated that the government will engage on employment of all communities, as well as on creating conditions in education and healthcare. “We all need to build a joint future, where there would be space for everyone, and we can create this future by cooperation,” said Mustafa.
