Kosovo’s Foreign Minister, Hashim Thaci, said that the Brdo Summit in Slovenia is a good opportunity to once again discuss with regional counterpart and the EU leaders about Kosovo’s European integration. In his address at the summit, Thaci stressed that Kosovo had made remarkable progress in the years following declaration of independence but that the EU delays and those of the Balkan countries in normalization of relations could hamper this progress. “Kosovo is proving to be champion of dialogue, normalization and good neighbourhood and we expect this contribution to be recognised,” said Thaci.
