Kosovo concerned about ISIS threats (Koha)
Members of the Kosovo Assembly Commission for Supervision of Kosovo Intelligence Agency, expressed concern with regards to the recent threats of the ISIS, that they would attack Balkans.
Melihate Termkolli, Deputy of the Democratic League of Kosovo, stated that these announcements are concerning, reports KTV. However, Rexhep Selimi, (Vetevendosje) form the Commission for Internal Affairs, seemed to be more concerned. He said that Kosovo institutions should take this threat seriously and added that threats coming from there should not be considered as divided from the other threats that come from the northern neighbor, Serbia.
The Commission did not discuss Kumanovo issue at the meeting held with the Director of Kosovo Intelligence Agency (KIA), Agron Selimaj.
Termkolli stated that discussions concerned the department of security verification, which is currently under KIA, but that it is expected to be part of the Office of the Prime Minister, or government. She stated that for KIA, the Kumanovo issue is already closed, being that this Agency has done its job. She reconfirmed that KIA had informed relevant institutions for the movements in Kumanovo, and added that the Commission is not informed about further details, but the Prime Minister, the President and Minister Hyseni, are.
