Citing reliable sources, the news site reports that members of the Kosovo Assembly will elect the new President of Kosovo on Friday at 11:00. The same sources said that the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) Hashim Thaci, will be faced with a counter-candidate for the post of President, namely Rafet Rama from the PDK. The news site also notes that Thaci is expected to resign his post as party leader before attending the extraordinary Assembly session on Friday.
