Government gives details about the meeting with Montenegrin PM (Indeksonline)

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, met five days ago in Albanian city Shkodra, his Montengrin counterpart, Duško Marković. The meeting made many headlines in the media however there was no information about the issues discussed on Saturday evening.

Indeksonline contacted several times the spokesperson of the government Arban Abrashi, however despite the promises, there was no explanation on the issues discussed during the meeting. On the other hand, Faton Abdullahu, political adviser to the Prime Minister, admitted that the two Prime Ministers discussed the demarcation issue.

“There are no details about this meeting that would change what is well known as the main issue. As the Prime Minister stressed, they discussed different matters related to the cooperation between the two countries. On this occasion they focused on the economic cooperation, where they mentioned the demarcation issue,” Adbdullahu said for Inteksonline.

He however spoke about the position of the Prime Minister saying that the demarcation issue is not problematic in relation to Montenegro but the relations within Kosovo.
