Haradinaj: I might not be released tomorrow (Gazeta Express)

The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, said during a telephone conversation with Gazeta Express that he might not be released by the Colmar court tomorrow. He said that theoretically, this court might not decide for his release. However his message for his supporters is to remain calm, being that justice is on his side.

Asked if he believes on French justice, Haradinaj said that he believes on his justice being that he did at that time what is a human right, defended from danger during Milosevic’s regime. “Freedom is a universal right. We have won the freedom, we have won the state, therefore I believe on law, I believe on justice, that of Kosovo, I trusted the international one as well but I do not recognize Serbian jurisdiction over me, so this is my permanent position,” Said Haradinaj adding that current procedures against him are purely political.
