Almost 200.000 internally displaced persons from Kosovo live in Serbia (Tanjug)

According to the latest data, in Serbia, without Kosovo and Metohija, there are 199.584 internally displaced persons from Kosovo and Metohija, Tanjug news agency reported.

Out of this number, 68.514 persons, respectively 16.644 families are in state of need, they do not have housing solution and adequate incomes to provide such housing.

These are the findings from a publication “Situation and Needs of Internally Displaced Persons” prepared by the Serbian Commissariat for Refugees and Migrations, presented today in Belgrade. According to their assessment, around 285,5 million euros are needed to resolve the housing issues for mentioned 16.644 families.
